Microneedling

Microneedling uses a professional device with fine, sterile needles to create controlled microchannels in the skin. It may improve the appearance of uneven texture, enlarged pores and fine lines.

Some clients notice fresher-looking skin after one session, while improvements in texture and skin quality develop gradually. A course of treatments may be recommended depending on your skin, goals and recovery response.

A professional topical booster is selected during consultation and applied as part of the treatment.

FILLMED NCTF BOOST 135 HA

Hydration, radiance and overall skin quality.

NCTF BOOST 135 HA is FILLMED's professional topical formula, combining non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid with vitamins, amino acids, minerals and coenzymes.

It is selected for skin that looks dehydrated, dull or tired, particularly when the main goal is refreshed-looking hydration, radiance and smoother-looking texture.

Applied topically during microneedling. This is not an injectable treatment.

REJURAN Skin Booster

Hydration, skin conditioning and smoother-looking texture.

REJURAN Skin Booster is a two-part professional formula: c-PDRN with hyaluronic acid, paired with an amino acid solution.

It is selected when skin looks dehydrated, rough or stressed, with the focus on hydration, skin condition and a smoother, healthier-looking complexion.

Applied topically during microneedling. This is not the injectable REJURAN treatment.

REJURAN Tone-Up Booster

For dull, uneven-looking skin and visible pigmentation.

REJURAN Tone-Up Booster is a two-part professional formula: c-PDRN, hyaluronic acid and panthenol, combined with ascorbic acid, glutathione and tranexamic acid.

It is selected when the focus is brighter-looking skin and a more even-looking complexion.

Pigmentation is complex and not every type responds the same way, so suitability is assessed carefully at consultation. If a doctor is treating your skin, check with them first.

Applied topically during microneedling. This is not an injectable treatment.

Bio Pen Q2 technology

An optional microneedling upgrade combining gold-plated needle technology, adjustable EMS microcurrent and integrated LED in one treatment device.

  • Gold-plated needle technology

    The Bio Pen Q2 uses a single-use, sterile, gold-plated conductive needle cartridge, designed to work together with its integrated EMS function.

  • Integrated EMS microcurrent

    Adjustable EMS microcurrent is delivered through the conductive needle cartridge during treatment, so microneedling and microcurrent can be incorporated into the same session.

  • Dual LED technology

    Built-in red and blue LED modes allow light therapy to be incorporated during treatment. The setting is adjusted to the treatment protocol and your skin's needs.

  • Personalised treatment settings

    Needle depth, speed, EMS intensity and LED mode can be adjusted to the treatment area, skin condition and treatment goals.

Bio Pen Q2 upgrade

Available as an optional upgrade with any of our FILLMED or REJURAN microneedling treatments. Suitability will be discussed during consultation.

All full microneedling treatments already include a separate post-treatment LED therapy session. The Bio Pen Q2's built-in LED is an additional device feature used during the treatment.

Suitability

Good to know.

  1. 01

    Microneedling is often recommended as a course rather than a one-off treatment. The number of sessions and their spacing are planned around your skin, goals and recovery response.

  2. 02

    After treatment, the skin may look red and feel warm, tight or mildly sensitive for 24 to 72 hours. Light dryness or flaking may occur around days 3 to 5. Downtime varies with treatment depth and your skin's response.

  3. 03

    Microneedling is not performed over active infection, cold sores, open wounds or inflamed breakouts, and is not suitable during pregnancy. Please tell us about any medical condition, medication, recent cosmetic treatment, or current or recent isotretinoin use before booking.

  4. 04

    Your skin is temporarily more vulnerable after treatment. Gentle skincare, daily SPF 50+ and careful sun protection are essential.

  5. 05

    The PDRN in both REJURAN boosters is marine-derived. Please let us know before booking if you have a fish or seafood allergy.

  6. 06

    The neck, or the neck and décolletage, can be added to any facial microneedling session.
